Computer and Latest IT gadgets  

The word computer is composed of the word "compute" in English, which means calculation is also called a computer. It was done to calculate the invention. Initially the computer was used only to calculate but at the present time, computers are used for different tasks such as music, graphics, and internet and so on.

कंप्यूटर(Computer) शब्द अंग्रेजी के “Compute” शब्द से बना है, जिसका अर्थ है गणना करना इसलिए इसे संगणक भी कहा जाता है इसका आविष्कार गणना करने के लिए किया गया था शुरुवाती समय में कंप्यूटर का उपयोग सिर्फ गणना करने के लिए किया जाता था परन्तु वर्तमान समय में कंप्यूटर का उपयोग भिन्न – भिन्न कार्यो के लिए किया जाता है जैसे – म्यूजिक , ग्राफ़िक्स, इन्टरनेट आदि कई अन्य क्षेत्रो में भी हो रहा है l

   

What is Computer –?

Computer is an automatic electronic machine or device which is accepts data or instruction through the input device and then after process in the processing device (calculations and operations based) gives us result through the output device.

कंप्यूटर एक ऐसा स्वचालित इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मशीन है, जो किसी यूजर द्वारा दिए गए इनपुट को इनपुट डिवाइस की मदद से ग्रहण करता है, तथा उस पर प्रक्रिया करने के बाद आउट डिवाइस की सहायता से परिणाम प्रदान करता है.

Data –

Data is raw material used as input and information is processed data obtained as output of data processing.

Or

Data is a collection of many instructions.

किसी भी प्रकार के निर्देशों के समूह को डाटा कहा जाता है.

As like – 0-9, a-z, अ-ज्ञ, @, $, & etc

These are mainly two types of data.

यह मुख्यतः दो प्रकार का होता है

1.       Textual Data - शाब्दिक डाटा

 (– 0-9, a-z, अ-ज्ञ, @,$,& etc)

2.       Graphical Data - ग्राफिकल डाटा

 (Photo, Videos etc)

Information –

Information is organized or classified data, which has some meaningful values for the receiver. Information is the processed data on which decisions and actions are based.

सूचना व्यवस्थित या वर्गीकृत डेटा है, जिसमें रिसीवर के लिए कुछ सार्थक मूल्य हैं। सूचना संसाधित डेटा है जिस पर निर्णय और कार्य आधारित होते हैं।

Input –

The act of entering data or other instruction in the computer or other system called is Input.

कंप्यूटर या अन्य प्रणाली में डेटा या अन्य निर्देश दर्ज करने का कार्य इनपुट है।

Processing –

It is the way of solving Arithmetical and logical Operations problem on data in order to convert them to useful information.

Output –

It is the process of presenting the final result for the user in printed, Sound or visual display format.

 

Full Form of Computer: कंप्यूटर का पूर्ण नाम:

C- Common – सामान्यतः

O- Operating – चल रहा है

M- Machine – यन्त्र

P- Particular – विशेष रूप से

U- Used in, User – प्रयोग में, प्रयोगकर्ता

T- Trade, Technical – व्यापार, तकनीकी

E- Education - शिक्षा

R- Result, Research – परिणाम, शोध

 

Characteristics of Computer -

 

1)         Automatic: Given a job, computer can work on it automatically without human interventions

 

2)         Speed: Computer can perform data processing jobs very fast, usually measured in microseconds (10-6), nanoseconds (10-9), and picoseconds (10-12)

 

3)         Accuracy: Accuracy of a computer is consistently high and the degree of its accuracy depends upon its design. Computer errors caused due to incorrect input data or unreliable programs are often referred to as Garbage- In-Garbage-Out (GIGO)

 

4)         Diligence: Computer is free from monotony, tiredness, and lack of concentration. It can continuously work for hours without creating any error and without grumbling

 

5)         Versatility: Computer is capable of performing almost any task, if the task can be reduced to a finite series of logical steps

 

6)         Power of Remembering: Computer can store and recall any amount of information because of its secondary storage capability. It forgets or looses certain information only when it is asked to do so

 

7)         No I.Q.: A computer does only what it is programmed to do. It cannot take its own decision in this regard

 

8)         No Feelings: Computers are devoid of emotions. Their judgment is based on the instructions given to them in the form of programs that are written by us (human beings)

 

Disadvantages of Computer - 

1)      Virus:  Virus is a worm which is wastes your computer program and make slow down your computer speed. Virus is transfer by Internet, Email, and Pen Drive etc.

वायरस एक कीड़ा है जो आपके कंप्यूटर प्रोग्राम को बेकार कर देता है और आपके कंप्यूटर की गति को धीमा कर देता है। वायरस इंटरनेट, ईमेल और पेन ड्राइव आदि द्वारा स्थानांतरित किया जाता है।

2)      Loss a lot of Time: Some children spend more and more time in playing computer games which may affect education. They also waste their time in watching movies or videos on computer.

कुछ बच्चे कंप्यूटर गेम खेलने में अधिक से अधिक समय बिताते हैं जो शिक्षा को प्रभावित कर सकता है। वे कंप्यूटर पर फिल्में या वीडियो देखने में अपना समय बर्बाद करते हैं।

3)      Hacking attacks:  Hacking is simply an unauthorized access over computer for illegal purpose.

   हैकिंग केवल अवैध उद्देश्य के लिए कंप्यूटर पर एक अनधिकृत पहुंच है।
