Input Device -

An input device is a hardware or peripheral device that used to send data into a computer.

एक इनपुट डिवाइस एक हार्डवेयर या Peripheral उपकरण है, जिसका उपयोग कंप्यूटर में डेटा भेजने के लिए किया जाता है।

These are two types….

·         Online Input Device

·         Offline Input Device

ONLINE INPUT DEVICE:

Online Input Device is required to connect Processing Device (CPU).

ऑनलाइन इनपुट डिवाइस को चलाने के लिए CPU की Requirement होती है  

These are various kinds.

ये विभिन्न प्रकार के होते हैं।

जैसे- Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner, Joystick, TrackBall, Light Pen, Touch Screen , Touch Pad, OMR, MICR, OCR, OBCR, Microphone, etc.

Keyboard:

Keyboard is a Textual online input device that is used to enter data by pressing keys.

कीबोर्ड एक प्रकार का ऑनलाइन Textual  इनपुट डिवाइस है जिसका उपयोग कीबोर्ड द्वारा कंप्यूटर में डाटा भेजने के लिए किया जाता है l

It has different set of keys.

Numerical Keys (0-9)

Alpha Numerical Keys (0-9, !, @, #, $, ^, & etc)

Functional Keys (f1- f12)

Movement Keys (Arrow key, home, end, page up/down)

Special Keys ( A – Z, v-K, shift, enter, alt, ctrl etc)

These are varies types keyboard.

Mouse:

Mouse is a pointing online input device that’s control a cursor in a GUI and can move and select Text, Icons, Files and Folders.

 यह आजकल इस्‍तेमाल होने वाले कम्‍प्‍यूटरों की मुख्‍य प्‍वांइंटिंग डिवाइस हैं। इसके द्वारा ग्राफिक यूजर इंटरफेस वाले ऑपरेटिंग सिस्‍टम में निर्देश देने का काम किया जाता हैं। इसके अतिरिक्‍त इसके माध्यम से डिजाइनिंग वाले प्रोग्रामों में आकृतियों का निर्माण भी किया जाता हैं।

It has three different keys

Left key, right key and scroll keys.

Basically mouse has three types.

Mechanical Mouse

Optical Mouse

Cordless or Wireless Mouse

 

Scanner:

It is an online input device that reads an Image and converts into a digital format or file and is displayed on the screen as output.

स्कैनर एक इनपुट डिवाइस है जो फोटोग्राफ और टेक्स्ट जैसे दस्तावेजों को कैप्चर करता है। स्कैनर्स उनके डिजाइन, स्कैनिंग मैकेनिज्म आदि के अनुसार कई प्रकार के होते हैं। जब किसी डॉक्यूमेंट को स्कैन करना होता है, तो सबसे पहले एक डॉक्यूमेंट को डिजिटल सिग्नल में बदला जाता है और फिर डॉक्यूमेंट के इस इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वर्जन पर स्कैनिंग की जाती है।

Joystick:

It is an online input device that allows the user to control a character or machine in a computer program game.

जॉयस्टिक एक प्रकार की इनपुट डिवाइस है Joystick का इस्तेमाल computer device के cursor या pointer के movement को control करने के लिए किया जाता है | इस input device का ज्यादातर इस्तेमाल gaming applications और graphics applications में किया जाता है l

Track Ball:

A trackball is an online input device which can perform the same functions as a mouse. It is allows the user to control a computer video game.

Trackball ये एक pointing input device है | Mouse के बजाय trackball का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है | Trackball का इस्तेमाल ज्यादातर Notebook और Laptop पर किया जाता है | जैसे-जैसे आप Trackball के ball को move करेंगे वैसे-वैसे आपका pointer भी move करेगा |

इस trackball के ball को hold किये हुए socket में जो sensors होते है वो ball के rotation को detect करके input देता है | इसे आसानी आप हाथ में लेकर उसके ball को rotate कर सकते है |

Light Pen:

 Light pen is a computer online input device that looks like a pen. It is used to draw any picture or graphics on the computer screen.

Light pen ये एक pointing device है जो text या data को select या modify करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है | ख़ास तौर पे इसका इस्तेमाल CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) Monitor पर data highlighting के लिए किया जाता था |

 

Touch Screen:

Touch screen is an input device which allows the user to place a finger instead of a pointing device directly on the screen to select a menu or object

टच स्क्रीन एक इनपुट डिवाइस है जो कि एक कंप्यूटर display स्क्रीन होती है।

टच स्क्रीन ज्यादातर फ़ोन तथा अन्य devices पर प्रयोग किया जाता है।

किसी डिवाइस को हम बिना mouse तथा keyboard या keypad का प्रयोग किये सीधे ही अपनी finger का use करके आसानी से प्रयोग कर सकते है।

 

Touch Pad:

A touch pad or “Track Pad” is an online input device on a laptop or some keyboard. It allows the user to move a cursor with their finger. It can be used in place of an external mouse.

Touchpad कंप्यूटर हार्डवेयर का एक इनपुट डिवाइस होता है। जिसे आप लैपटॉप या अपने स्मार्टफोन में प्रयोग करते है। लैपटॉप में एक Square Shape में जगह होती है जिसे Touch करके माउस की तरह काम किया जाता है। लैपटॉप में कर्सर को मूव करने में इसका प्रयोग किया जाता है।

Touchpad को हाथों की उँगलियों से इस्तेमाल करते है। हम जिस दिशा में अपने हाथ की उँगलियों को मूव करेंगे उसी दिशा में Touchpad कर्सर को मूव करता है।
Touchpad में भी 2 बटन होते है पहला Left Click और दूसरा Right Click

OMR ( Optical Mark Reader/Recognizer) -

OMR is an online input device that is used to identifying human handled data certain makings on a document or used to read OMR Paper sheet.

ओएमआर एक ऐसा इनपुट डिवाइस है जो किसी कागज पर पेन्सिल या पेन के मार्क की उपस्थिति और अनुपस्थिति को जाचंता है इसका प्रयोग ऑब्जेक्टिव प्रकार के परीक्षा की उत्तर पुस्तिका को जांचने के लिए किया जाता है जिसमे प्रश्न और उनके चार विकल्प होता है

 

 MICR (Magnetic ink character recognizer)-

MICR is abbreviation of Magnetic ink character reader; MICR computer input device is designed to read the text printed with printed ink. It is widely used in banks to process the cheques.

MICR का पूरा नाम है मैग्नेटिक इंक करैक्टर रिकग्निशन (Magnetic ink character recognition) है मतलब ये ऑटोमैटिक इंक करैक्टर रिकग्निशन टेक्निक है इसमें बैंक चेक पर लिखे मैग्नेटिक कोड को मशीन द्वारा ही पढ़ लिया जाता है जिस से की चेक को सही खाते में जमा किया जा सके चुकी MICR कोड हर एक बैंक ब्रांच के लिए अलग होता है इस कारन इसे दूसरी ट्रांसेक्शन प्रोसेस के लिए भी उपयोग किया जाता है।

MICR code नौ अंको का होता है जिसमे पहले 3 अंक शहर का नाम अगले तीन अंक बैंक का नाम और अंतिम तीन अंक बैंक की ब्रांच के बारे में बताते है l

 

OCR (Optical Character Recognizer):

OCR is abbreviation of Optical Character Recognizer; OCR computer input device is designed to convert the scanned images of handwritten, typed or printed text into digital text.

OCR का पूरा नाम optical character recognition है।

OCR एक ऐसी Technology है जिसके द्वारा हम files को edit कर सकते हैं

,यह एक ऐसी  Technology है जिसके द्वारा हम विभिन्न प्रकार के files  को ऐसे डेटा में बदल सकते हैं जो  computer समझ सकता है|

OCR एक ऐसा software program है जिससे हाथ से लिखे या type कर print  किए book या newspaper के किसी भी page को स्कैन कर text में convert किया जा सकता है

 

BCR (Bar Code Reader):

BCR or POS scanner is an electric computer input device used for reading printed bar code codes.

बार कोड रीडर एक ऐसा इनपुट डिवाइस है जो बार कोड में Encoded सूचना को पढ कर कंप्यूटर में इंटर करता है इसका प्रयोग मुख्यता बड़े दुकानो, शोपिंग मालो आदि जगह पर किया जाता है l

 

Microphone:

A microphone is an input device that is used to input the sound. It receives the sound, convert it into audio signals. It is also used to add sound to presentations and with webcams for video conferencing.

एक माइक्रोफोन एक इनपुट डिवाइस है जिसका उपयोग ध्वनि को इनपुट करने के लिए किया जाता है। यह ध्वनि प्राप्त करता है, इसे ऑडियो संकेतों में परिवर्तित करता है। इसका उपयोग वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के लिए प्रस्तुतियों के लिए और वेबकैम के साथ ध्वनि जोड़ने के लिए भी किया जाता है।

OFFLINE INPUT DEVICE:

Off Line Input Device is not require connected through the CPU.

These are only one input device called is Digital Camera.

वे इनपुट डिवाइस जिसे कंप्यूटर से बिना जोड़े काम किया जाता है ऑफलाइन इनपुट डिवाइस कहलाता है

ये केवल एक इनपुट डिवाइस है जिसे डिजिटल कैमरा कहा जाता है।

 

DIGITAL CAMERA:

A digital camera is a peripheral or off line input device that takes pictures or videos like a regular camera, but stores the images as data on a Memory Card.

A digital camera is also known as a dig cam.

एक डिजिटल कैमरा एक पेरिफेरल या ऑफ लाइन इनपुट डिवाइस है जो एक नियमित कैमरे की तरह चित्र या वीडियो लेता है, लेकिन इमेज को मेमोरी कार्ड पर डेटा के रूप में संग्रहीत करता है। एक डिजिटल कैमरा को एक डिग कैम के रूप में भी जाना जाता है
